Ossipee Valley Christian School is a 501c(3) non-profit private school owned by two churches. It was established in 1979 and now serves approximately 70 students in the Pre-School and K-12 programs on average. Students are from rural towns of Porter to Bridgton to Dayton; a majority attending from the SAD 55 and 57 area. OVCS is a Maine state-approved school, and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). OVCS is located at 1890 North Road Cornish, Maine, 04020 -- approximately 25 miles northwest of Portland.

Faculty and Staff

The Pre-School Program is offered for 4-year olds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am to Noon. The K-8 program includes Kindergarten, first & second grade, third & fourth grade, fifth & sixth grade, and seventh & eighth grade self-contained classrooms, taught by certified, experienced teachers. The high school program was established in fall of 1999. The high school staff includes four teachers, and there is an average enrollment of 20 students in gr. 9-12.

Gr. 5 & 6: serve at Bon Appetit Food Kitchen, Biddeford
Gr. 7 & 8: Vaudeville-type gospel show (juggling, illusions, skits) bookings 2-3 times per month
Gr. 9 & 10: student leaders with CEF Good News Club weekly
Gr. 11 & 12: visitation ministry twice a month within community
